HungryTX collects standard server logs and information visitors voluntarily submit. HungryTX does not sell personal information.

Analytics

HungryTX uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use restaurant discovery features, including picker requests, directory filters, restaurant-page visits, and outbound actions such as opening a map or menu. HungryTX does not send contact details, correction or claim descriptions, or the words entered into directory search as custom analytics parameters.

Location discovery

HungryTX requests precise browser location only after you select a location button. When granted, the coordinates are kept in session storage in your browser and used to calculate distances; they are not saved to your HungryTX account or sent as HungryTX Analytics parameters. You can clear the location from the restaurant directory or by ending the browser session. Manual city and ZIP searches send only the entered city or ZIP to HungryTX to locate a matching database center.

Restaurant data

Restaurant records may come from Foursquare OS Places, OpenStreetMap, official restaurant websites, administrator edits, and exception-only Google Places validation. Public page views do not trigger routine Google validation.
